Earthquake Preparedness Consultant
Steven Eberlein is an experienced health and safety professional with the American Red Cross. He has dedicated his career to promoting safety and preparedness at both the corporate and personal levels.
Steven’s experience of the Sri Lanka tsunami in 2004 inspired him to focus on helping the Pacific Northwest prepare for disasters of all kinds (including a Cascadia earthquake). He authored the “Prepare Out Loud” community preparedness program in 2016 to challenge the Pacific Northwest to create a culture of preparedness.
Steven is a well-known public speaker, making appearances around the country. His popular TEDx Talk, “Why We Do Not Prepare For Earthquakes,” presents ideas from his “Prepare Out Loud” program and encourages attendees to be vocal about their preparedness.
