He has worked with organizations to implement emergency preparedness and business continuity plans for more than 10 years, with experience in the financial, government and academic sectors. He has held leadership roles in government, academia, private sector and non-profit organizations.

He is a national Certified Emergency Manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers and Master Continuity Practitioner through the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He is a FEMA certified instructor and holds instructor certificates in many emergency management related topics.
